Hi! I’m Stephanie.

15 years of Business Development, Sales & Training…

…is what I’m bringing to a sales and training role. I’ve worked in 4 states and the District of Columbia, and worked with our most vulnerable populations (seniors and early childhood students) which has honed communication and relational skills. I started my career in sourcing with Oshkosh B’Gosh in Oshkosh, WI …yes….the overall company!….helping them better negotiate prices with vendors. I’m just as eager to strategize over a cup of coffee than at the whiteboard. I thrive on spontaneity, but appreciate finding a good routine.

A warm smile and a hearty laugh are the best gifts.

Insurance Sales

2018 – Present

Working mostly remote, I honed my sales skills connecting with an average of 25 customers daily over the phone from various parts of the country. Not only did this help expand my ability to connect quickly without the benefit of face-to-face interaction, but I excelled in relating to people of various sub-cultures and demographics. I excelled at connecting with various people throughout the day, and educating customers on the best products for them. Closed an average 82% of calls.

Ferguson Enterprises

2016 – 2018

As the 1st point of contact within the sales staff, I quickly established rapport with customers coming into the showroom, discerned customer needs and built a loyal customer base. Since the home-building and renovation process can be overwhelming and stressful, I brought customers into a structure that was both educational and maximized sales. Generated yearly sales average of $250K.

Solafide Marketing

2015–2016

Pivoting to the world of sales, I helped clients build their customer base through office presentations, cold outreach and networking at community events. I loved this role for the opportunity to grow organizations, for the many people it put me in touch with, and the relationships I built. Crafted communication for two clients; a magazine publisher and a chiropractic neurologist. Instructed customers on products. Exceeded new business goals by 50%.

Community Academy Public Charter School

2009–2013

Teaching ESL to early childhood grades in NE Washington, DC had been a dream of mine, and was my first professional teaching experience. Having taught English briefly in Brazil on a mission trip, I was excited to switch gears. Teaching required me to structure my lessons, be sharpened by other educators, and sharpen my presentation skills. By the end of my teaching tenure, I was ready to work with more adults and focus on selling back in North Carolina.

 FAQs

  • I value people, and relationships. I’ve worked in 4 different states and the District of Columbia which has helped round out my relational skills to see different perspectives and adapt well to sub-cultures.

  • What can I say….I’m partially an Enneagram 7. After helping successfully run 3 retail stores in the Raleigh area, I also went on a mission trip to Brazil in my mid-twenties and it lit a passion in me to teach ESL in DC. As one does, I burnt out with teaching and wanted to work with more adults and focus on sales, strategy and training.
